No mate...you are spot-on...

Don't think I was having a "go", it's just there are soooo many ways of "doing it"...

I know that one of Steve's favourite ways of shotting Wilkie Diamonds are a "spead bulk"...generally number nines on the 0.2-0.3 sizes, but I'll leave this for Steve to answer...It may be a long one though..!!:eek:

Only just seen this post! Anyway when i am fishing wilky diamonds i like to keep my shotting nice and simple and consequently i use a strung bulk. For example if i was using a 0.3g diamond then i would have a strung bulk of n0.10 shots. Normally 6 or 7 to shot the float to the right level. Each shot is placed roughly an inch apart and in a depth of 6ft the last shot would be between 12 and 18 inches from the hook depending on the size of fish i am likely to encounter.
