Why is it 90% of the time you always burn your mouth when you take that first sip !!!!! Even when you think its ok to drink lol

Because when you drink tea or coffee you have added milk so your brain assumes that the soup has dropped in temperature by the same amount over the same period of time ;)

Because of it's viscosity, the cooling convections are less efficient.

Matt when you try drinking tea with Goats milk you soon get used to black tea lol. Thats what happens when you venture away from the good old United Chavdom lol

in fact i don't mind goats milk,my wifes friend runs a goat and chicken farm in sw france,a sort of pick you're own roast..lol and proberly the best goats cheese you'll ever get to eat,apparently they have started to have pigs as well.:)

oh i see that you are a little confused there matt...let me explain,they breed goats for milk and cheese and chickens for eggs and meat,they have also brought some pigs to make into ham,sausages ect,the grandmother on the adjacent farm breeds geese for foie gras on which is also fantastic to eat....

read somewhere that soup if reheated in microwave,can,on occassion, have a tendancy to have a delayed explosive boil effect.
Could thisbe happening inside your mouth when you drink? as apparently serious 3rd degree burns have occurred to some.
