What would it be and why?

if that's the case...it would have to be the humble maggot,every thing eats maggots and its so versatile,maggot feeder.sticky mag and wag,straight wag and mag,on the stick,on the pole,up in the air and spray...you name it it does it in our little world;)

I've got to agree,there aren't many baits as versatile as maggot. You can use it on all types of venues,use it for all kinds of methods and there's not a fish out there that won't eat them!

Steak any type as long as its the size of a big dinner plate



fishing - it has to be maggot cos then you can use casters afterwards lol

Paste for me- as if this winter is anything to go by, I may just turn into a soft sutherm fairy and only go fishing when the sun shines!
But really,
As I mostly fish the non flowing type of water, it would have to be pellet, catch most species of commercial fish on this, and different sizes can be more or less selective.
